Per the official press release, "all together, these five FIFA World Cup 2026 Fan Events in New York City will be one of the largest free fan events in the country."

The State of New York is contributing $20 million in funding to support World Cup activities across the city. Locations and dates have now been confirmed for each borough (see below).

Borough-by-Borough

The Five Boroughs

Manhattan

Rockefeller Center · Confirmed

Manhattan's fan zone is Fan Village at Rockefeller Center — one of the most iconic public spaces in the city. Expect the largest crowds, the most international fan presence, and the easiest transit access from anywhere in the metro.

Transit
B/D/F/M to 47–50 Sts–Rockefeller Center; multiple subway lines within walking distance. PATH from NJ via 33rd St (10-min walk) or WTC.
What's Nearby
Walking distance to Midtown hotels, Times Square food, and Hell's Kitchen for after-event nightlife. Hudson Yards a short subway ride away.

Brooklyn

Brooklyn Bridge Park · Confirmed

Brooklyn's fan zone is Brooklyn Bridge Park — waterfront park spanning Pier 1 to Pier 6 along the East River with skyline views. The borough has arguably the deepest soccer culture in NYC, with strong support across multiple national fan communities.

Transit
A/C to High St–Brooklyn Bridge, 2/3 to Clark St, F to York St, R to Court St. NYC Ferry East River line stops at Pier 6.
What's Nearby
DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights for matchday food. Williamsburg, Bushwick, and Park Slope reachable for evening dining and bars.

Queens

USTA Billie Jean King Center · June 11–27

Queens hosts Fan Zone Queens at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows — the home of the US Open. Open June 11–27 with daily programming and match viewings during the group stage. Queens is statistically the most diverse county in the United States, and this fan zone reflects that — particularly strong support expected from Mexican, Colombian, Ecuadorian, and Bangladeshi fans.

Transit
7 train to Mets–Willets Point. LIRR Port Washington line to Mets–Willets Point on game days. Citi Field is right next door.
What's Nearby
Jackson Heights for South American food (74th Street is the corridor). Flushing for East Asian food. Citi Field for any concurrent Mets games.

The Bronx

Near Yankee Stadium · Confirmed

The Bronx fan zone is sited at a shopping center near Yankee Stadium in the South Bronx. Strong support expected from Dominican, Puerto Rican, and West African fan communities — Assemblymember Landon Dais described the location as creating "a fan zone right here in the Mighty 77th District" so neighbors can celebrate together.

Transit
4/B/D trains to 161st St–Yankee Stadium. Metro-North to Yankees–E 153rd St on game days.
What's Nearby
Arthur Avenue (the Bronx's "real Little Italy") for matchday food. Yankee Stadium itself for any concurrent baseball schedule. South Bronx food scene a short walk away.

Staten Island

SIUH Community Park · June 29 – July 2

Staten Island's fan zone is at Staten Island University Hospital Community Park, a minor league baseball stadium near the St. George waterfront. Open June 29 through July 2 with daily programming and evening match viewings during the late group stage and Round of 32. The most local-feeling experience of the five boroughs — smaller crowds, strong neighborhood feel.

Transit
Staten Island Ferry from Lower Manhattan (free, ~25 minutes), then SI Railway from St. George station. The ferry ride alone is part of the experience.
What's Nearby
St. George waterfront for pre/post-event food. Empire Outlets shopping at the ferry terminal. Lighthouse Park for views.

New Jersey · Separate Event

Sports Illustrated Stadium · $10

The NJ side has its own separate fan event at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ — home of the New York Red Bulls. Unlike the five free NYC borough events, the NJ event is paid: admission starts at $10. Expect a more intimate, soccer-focused atmosphere given the venue is a purpose-built MLS stadium.

Transit
PATH train direct to Harrison station (next to the stadium) from Manhattan via WTC, 33rd St, or 14th St — typically 15–25 minutes.
What's Nearby
Harrison's small downtown for pre/post-event food. Easily combined with hotels in Newark, Jersey City, or Hoboken via PATH.
